Political and fashion as bed fellow?. The economy is an issue in both ,race (unfortunately) is an issue in both. marketing and fears plays a path in both.
In fashion at least , there is hope! No this is not what you expected an easy handout as a solution. This is however not only possibl , as designers we raise money regulary… for Charities, for promoters, for retailers, for magazines and Bloggers and various content producers: fashion sells! Why then are we constanty crying for funding! As designers we solve challenges daily lets take this one on!

From the creative minds behind Brooklyn Fashion Week comes “Unleashed”. A one day event entirely dedicate to the future of fashion, design , music and cosmetology.
Yes we are giving a fashion week stage to students, one fullday of fashion in a local park. Designers cannetwork and meet potential interns, aspiring designers can meet the schools that cater to them
It has been evident that within these industries, the market has catered to the most established. Were ishas the innovation of the upcoming generation. This day long fashion show will give current students an opportunity and platform to be completely creative and follow their true passion.

Absolutely nothing but tap ourselves on the back. When we posted our dates and a brief outline of our format we intended to make newcomers aware of the labor day traditions, in their February anouncement they boasted of eight days , in Williamsburg 30 designers , 50 models, They have since spread that across Brooklyn in Boutiques and etc. We have used it since 2005 but that is not our format that is Genuine Brooklyn Style…. we just know our market and apparently the fashion world knows us!
BrooklynFashionWeek.com is the only Brooklyn Fashion Week event designed by a wide open group of Brooklyn designers. Yes designed. We have realized since Brooklyn Style that we were the ones with a stake in this business and spent 2005 to date designing and testing our format. We have held the domain since 2005/6 as we took on the challenge of creating a program that works!
A trade and consumer event it is open to any designer who is ready to show and/or sell. There is a small marketing fee and we are working with a broader cross section of the Brooklyn Business community to provide servicesand support. during The “Prelude ‘to fashion week.Our Technology focus will take fashion presentationn and marketing and ecommerce virtual, portable and mobile, We will also introduce 2d Barcode technology as well aslive andtaped straming!
